The Josh Minton Foundation held its inaugural golf benefit July 30, 2022 at Hillcrest Golf Club in Findlay, Ohio. Thanks to the many golfers, sponsors and donors, a total of $17,200 was raised to help support the missions of the foundation.
“We are so touched by the support of so many family, co-workers, friends and folks we didn’t know (yet).” said foundation co-founder Bob Minton. “We had so many sponsors and donors that there are just no words. 28 teams, numerous volunteers and perfect weather led to an amazing 1st Annual Josh Minton Foundation Golf Benefit.”
The winning team finished the 18-hole scramble with a score of 56. Numerous prizes were awarded for longest putt, closest to the hole and longest drive. Each golfer also received a lunch catered by the Fostoria Pizza Palace. During the meal, the participants had an opportunity to hear from Jodi Roszman and her son Sam, who shared with the group their experience as guests at the Minton Lodge as part of our therapeutic stay program.
Plans for the 2023 golf benefit are being made and will be announced soon.
