How To Play Football Squares
Cost: $50 per square
How Does it Work: It is a squares pool with the last digit of the score for both teams determining the winners in each quarter and for the game. Prior to the start of the game on December 9th, the numbers along the top and side of the grid will be randomly selected for each quarter (meaning you have four different sets of numbers, one for each quarter). The final grid will be posted to our Facebook page so you can follow along.
Army is away team; Navy is home team
Some example scenario’s on how to win
- If game is scoreless at the end of the 1st quarter 0-0, the square on the grid at 0-0 wins the entire $600 total quarter payout
- If Army scores first, the square on Army 7 – Navy 0 wins the 1st score payout and the square on Army 0 – Navy 7 wins the reverse of 1st score payout. If no one else scores for the rest of the quarter, those two squares also win the payouts for 2nd and final score and the reversals of both.
Other Rules: A touchdown with the extra point/two point conversion attempt counts as ONE score. The extra point/two point conversion attempt is considered a part of the touchdown process since no time is run off the clock. Scores for a touchdown will be recorded after the extra point/two point conversion attempt has been completed.
Loser Raffle: Any participant from grid page that did not win any payout will get a chance to win $100
If you are a winner: We will contact you within 24 hours via email after the game to arrange for payouts. We prefer to send the winnings to you using Venmo.

The Josh Minton Foundation’s mission, duty and purpose is to provide support to individuals and families affected by cancer and military service through the use of a no-cost therapeutic retreat located at the Minton Lodge in southern Ohio.
Football square purchases are not tax-deductible. Donations of any sort, either through monetary forms, service, or goods will receive a tax-deductible receipt from the Josh Minton Foundation.
